Makes All Stops

Adventures by C, K, A, and M

High Chair!

I got a high chair! Now I can sit at the table, it's lots of fun. It has a little tray so I can feed myself (which I'm really good at.)

The tray also comes off so my parents can feed me when they actually want me to eat.

Hmm, what is this stuff?

DSC_3240.jpg

Oh, it's pretty good!

Hi guys!

Hi guys, I'm having fun over here.

I found a new tube to play with but my parents don't let me play with it on my own because of this strap.

More practice crawling

I'm wiggling myself all around learning how to crawl. I can move across the floor but very slowly and it's more of a shuffle than a crawl.

Oh oh, my parents better move stuff like this out of my reach! It's fun to explore though.

Here's a picture where you can see my teeth! I've got one sticking out on the top too.

Whew, all this crawling is tiring.

Goin' on an adventure

Today we went on an adventure! First we went over to Ballard.

DSC_3075.jpg

Then, we went to the Re-Store, a recycled building supplies place. I had a blast.

Then, we went to another store, which I didn't enjoy quite as much.

On the way back to the car, my Dad and I played some games.

And we got to park next to this neat oil sign.

New Stroller!

Happy Indian Independence Day! My parents got this fun stroller. I love it, especially when they go really fast!

Don't I look cute in my overalls?

Learning to Crawl

Today I'm getting some more practice crawling. I haven't gotten the hang of it yet, but it won't be long. I can actually wiggle myelf very slowly across the room but I ususally only make it a few inches before I get tired and stop. I can also rotate around -- I just haven't lifted enough of myself off the ground yet to really crawl.

I'm Still Teething

I've still only got two teeth that have made it all the way through the surface, but I've got a bunch more on the way. My mom helps me out by helping me chew on this gelatinous ring.

Trip to Detroit

I went with my parents to Detroit for a wedding. It's the farthest East and the farthest South I've ever been! First we went to the airport.

DSC_2865.jpg

I did ok on the flight, though I cried a little bit in the middle when it was hard to take a nap. We stayed in Dearborn, Michigan which is in the middle of a bunch of Ford buildings. If I ever grow up to work at Ford I can put this picture on my desk.

DSC_2874.jpg

There was also this weird box labeled "DANGER". I never did figure out what was so dangerous about it.

DSC_2868.jpg

The hotel room was a fun place to practice sitting up.

DSC_2882.jpg

And it had some fun replicas of houses of famous people.

DSC_2883.jpg

My Dad and I spent some time exploring while my Mom was at the Mehndi party.

DSC_2894.jpg

There were two celebrations. One was an Indian Baraat where groom arrived on horseback! (Though the horse was a little skittish). My parents were busy dancing along with the Baraat so we didn't get any pictures.

Here's Griff the groom and Dan a friend of ours.

And here are the bride and groom, Griff and Arti.

DSC_2904.jpg

I had fun at the party hearing lots of music. Plus I was on west coast time so I got to stay up really late!

DSC_2905.jpg

Then the next day was the wedding itself. Don't we look nice?

DSC_2918.jpg

I got a little fussy during the wedding and my Mom had to take me for a walk.

DSC_2931.jpg

Ahh, how nice!
