Africando
These guys seem to think Africando is coming back some day! I was so sad to see Africando go -- the Mafe there was one of my "top 5 meals in Seattle", and I wasn't sure what (if anything) could replace it on the list. The top 5 meals in (mostly north) Seattle are, in no particular order:
- Pizza and a pitcher of IPA at Big Time on the Ave
- Paneer tika masala with bottomless chai and garlic nan at Cedars or Taste of India
- A burger, fries, tartar, and a big milkshake from Kidd Valley
- Africando's Mafe
- Panang curry with chicken and lotsa rice from Chaiyo up north on 15th Ave NE
